With over 2,500 selections spanning 18 countries and a remarkable four-centuries, our wine cellar is testament to our passion for the craft of winemaking and the talent of our sommeliers.

Designed to cater for all levels and tastes, our hundred-page wine list has been awarded the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award – one of only 90 worldwide. We’re committed to representing the rich diversity of wines from both heritage vineyards and up-and-coming producers and our innovative Coravin wine preservation system allows guests to experience rare and inaccessible vintages by the glass.

Our cocktail list has been created with the same care and dedication, with a special focus on non-alcoholic options.

To most people our extensive wine list can seem a little daunting, but our experienced and friendly sommeliers are on hand to offer recommendations based on your tastes and budget. It’s all part of the service and a passion for hospitality which flows through every element of every meal. The team, many of which have been with us for years, are very proud of everything we’ve achieved at Clos Maggiore and continually strive to ensure every guest has a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Champagne Billecart-Salmon Dinner ‍

Champagne Billecart-Salmon was founded in 1818 in the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ near Epernay and remains family-owned and run. Mathieu Roland-Billecart represents the seventh generation here, following in the footsteps of founders Nicolas-François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon.

A family tasting committee meets weekly, joined by chef du cave Florent Nys. The eight-person panel includes three generations of the family, notably including Jean Roland-Billecart (who alone has over 75 vintages of experience). Not one cuvée is released until every member of the committee agrees on the blend. The house is focused on working alongside the very finest gastronomic restaurants and are delighted to have a strong partnership with Clos Maggiore, who serve their iconic Rosé Champagne by the glass.

Hosted by Charlie Wethered joined Champagne Billecart-Salmon three years ago. He appeared on MasterChef in 2012 and then founded his own luxury events business that caters for galleries and private clients in central London. His passion for food and drink led him to the house of Billecart-Salmon where he now looks after their top regional fine dining accounts as well as giving educational talks on the subject of Champagne. He is very much looking forward to taking the guests of Clos Maggiore on a journey of exploration into the cellars of this revered maison.

About the Event

This exclusive event begins at 6.30pm with a glass of Billecart-Salmon Champagne NV and an introduction to the Brand Ambassador. This will be followed by dinner served at 7.00 pm. Each course is designed to perfectly complement the outstanding wines selected for the evening.
