With over 2,500 selections spanning 18 countries and a remarkable four-centuries, our wine cellar is testament to our passion for the craft of winemaking and the talent of our sommeliers.

Designed to cater for all levels and tastes, our hundred-page wine list has been awarded the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award – one of only 90 worldwide. We’re committed to representing the rich diversity of wines from both heritage vineyards and up-and-coming producers and our innovative Coravin wine preservation system allows guests to experience rare and inaccessible vintages by the glass.

Our cocktail list has been created with the same care and dedication, with a special focus on non-alcoholic options.

To most people our extensive wine list can seem a little daunting, but our experienced and friendly sommeliers are on hand to offer recommendations based on your tastes and budget. It’s all part of the service and a passion for hospitality which flows through every element of every meal. The team, many of which have been with us for years, are very proud of everything we’ve achieved at Clos Maggiore and continually strive to ensure every guest has a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

‍"When Reims meets Bordeaux"
‍Champagne Palmer & Co

Deep beneath the chalky substrate of Reims lies one of Champagne’s shining stars: The elegant bubbles of Palmer & Co.

The winery was born from a collective of growers who came together in 1947 with a shared vision for making ultra premium wine. Now, their vines stretch across 415ha of land. Of this, 200ha encompass 40 crus in the Montagne de Reims.

The rest of their grapes are grown across the Cote de Sezanne, the Cote des Bar and the Marne Valley. It is this patchwork of terroirs that helps Palmer to achieve wonderful balance. They are one of the few Champagne houses to have a Solera system, and their 35-year-old Soleras add richness and complexity into the Champagnes – these reserve wines are the backbone of their non-vintage cuvees.

Château d'Armailhac

Named a Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Classification, Château d'Armailhac was acquired by Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1933.

The estate had belonged to the d'Armailhac family since the 18th century, although its history dates back to almost 100 years before that, when a register from the area mentioned the land being 'planted with vines'. Its wines throughout the 18th century were described as 'disappointingly thin', at which its owners started a process of improvement, marked by unrelenting determination, that lasts to this day. Techniques such as topping-up, running-off, barrel disinfection and fining were introduced, with the wine improving so much that the estate achieved Fifth Growth status.

A neighbour of Mouton Rothschild, Château d'Armailhac's 70 hectares of vineyards are planted with classic Bordeaux varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wines are matured in oak barrels, and combine finesse and elegance with the power and tannins typical of the great wines of Pauillac.

About the Event

This exclusive event begins at 6.30pm with a glass of Champagne Palmer Brut Réserve and Canapés. This will be followed by a four-course dinner served at 7.00 pm. Each course is designed to perfectly complement the outstanding wines selected for the evening.
